French Toast Sous vide

The recipe for making a French dessert from toasts with the sous vide.

  • Milk 240 ml
  • Eggs 8 pcs
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Vanilla 1 whisper
  • Daily challah (Twisted oblong white bread) 2 chunks
  • Butter 2 tbsp
Method

  • While the water is heating to 64 degrees, mix eggs, vanilla, milk and salt.
  • Put two pieces of challah in a vacuum bag, pour in the resulting mixture and vacuum the bag.
  • Dip in heated water and cook for 1.5 hours.
  • In the meantime, melt the butter in a frying pan to fry the slices until golden brown on both sides after finishing cooking in the sous vide.
  • Cut the slices in half before serving. Serve with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, jam or syrup.
