Sous vide bacon cheeseburger

Good old cheeseburgers taste even better when cooked according to the sous vide technology!

It's time to forget everything you knew about cheeseburgers and rediscover its amazing taste. No more hours go to waste grilling patties and wondering whether they are grilled enough or not. Just set the right temperature, get on with your day and come back to taste the ready-made dish!

  • Fresh ground beef out of chuck & blade piece 500 gr
  • Cream cheese 4 slices
  • Sliced tomato 1 piece
  • Boiled bacon 4 slices
  • Ketchup, mustard, table salt and pepper
  • A little ghee for frying

  • Set the temperature of the sous vide thermostat to 60 degrees and wait until the water warms up.
  • Make two patties about 200 grams each and two and a half centimeters thick. Season them with pepper, salt and put in a vacuum bag.
  • Cook them in a sous vide cooker for 90 minutes.
  • Take a heavy-bottomed pan and melt the ghee in it over medium heat.
  • Put the poached patties in the pan and fry each side for a minute. Once the first side is fried, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
